spring and summer which reverses to purple petals and white center in
the fall and winter.

is an alien species and a threat to native plants in Hawaii. It can
spread across a entire plant in less then a day. The Chinese Violet
blooms year round but goes dormant when it goes to seed. The seed
are light and usually blown by the wind.
