Chinese Violet
Asystasia gangetica
This plant is a beautiful eye catching weed and can grow from 1-2 feet in height. It grows rampant in tropical areas and often becomes dominant when introduced. This creamy white colored flower consists of purple markings that attract bees to their nectar.

 
The Chinese Violet has creamy white petals with a purple center during the spring and summer which reverses to purple petals and white center in the fall and winter.
  The Chinese Violet is an alien species and a threat to native plants in Hawaii. It can spread across a entire plant in less then a day. The Chinese Violet blooms year round but goes dormant when it goes to seed. The seed are light and usually blown by the wind.
