Love-in-a-Mist
Passiflora foetida
This plant has a beautiful flower with an awful smell and yet it produces a sweet edible fruit known as passion fruit. The stems are thin like a wire and woody with sticky yellow hairs. The leaves have three to five lobes sometimes heart shaped. It is an alien species and on the offshore island of Mokunui has become aggressive.
