Description • The Limu Kolu is slimy or gritty and red- brownto buish violet in color. It is shaped like a Christmas tree and appears fluffy.
During its season Limu Kohu was salted heavily for preservation and stored in covered containers at room temperature. It was frequently eaten with raw fish.

Habitat • The Limu Kohu is found in shallow waters that have heavy water motion,places where there are continually breaking waves.
