Description • Stinging Limu is blackish-green or olive green. It grows in clumps and looks matted hair. It also grows in colors of yellow, gray, red and up to 4 inches in length.

Habitat • During the months of June through September persistent trade winds dislodge the strands and they wash into swimming bays and beaches.
