Description: The trevally is golden yellow with narrow black bars as a juvenille and become silvery iridescence with a few black spots as an adult with the bars very faint or non-existent. They have very fleshy lips and very few teeth on the lowerjaw as juveniles and as adults are without teeth. They can grow up to 4 feet in length. Habitat Usually seen over sandy bottoms. Diet Feeds on sand-dwelling invertebrates and small fishes.
