Description • One of the more commonly seen dolphins in the Hawaiian islands they are the most acrobatic. They are a small and slender and grow to 6 1/2 feet in length. Males are larger than females who give birth to only one calf. Spinner dolphins are only found in the wild and travel in large schools of 100 to300 animals.

Habitat •
Hawaiian spinner dolphins are found in tropical and subtropical oceans. In the near coastal waters of Oahu they are seen on an almost daily basis.

Diet •
Spinner dolphins eat squid and wide variety of fish and feed actively at night.
