Description This large shark grows to 18 feet and can weigh up to 2000 pounds. It is responsible for the most shark attacks in Hawaii however the average is less than one attack per year. The tiger-like markings are along its back and it has a light underbelly. They have a special gill right behind the eye that provides oxygen flow directly to the eyes and brain. They have a keen sense of smell and very good eyesight. Habitat Found world-wide in warm seas the Tiger Shark is a solitary animal. Diet . The Tiger Shark eats almost anything.
